About
Kate Verna has had a lifelong love of photography and started taking photos in grade school. In college she studied photography at the University of Missouri, and later attended the Rocky Mountain School of Photography.
A large body of Kate’s work was captured while pursuing her other passion of travel. She particularly enjoys photographing street photography, animals, and long forgotten places of the past such as those she saw on a road trip down Route 66. She has been to every continent except Antarctica.
Kate always has her camera with her on trips and has an extensive portfolio from her travels. Most recently Kate had the opportunity to travel to Havana, Cuba and build a body of work around street photography, classic cars, and the ballerinas at the National Ballet school.
Kate’s work has been exhibited in Columbia, St. Charles, Kansas City, and Rolla Missouri.
